About a month before Thanksgiving 2021, we decided to try, for the first time, an all inclusive resort.

There were many options to choose from and we decided to try the one in Playa Del Carmen (Next to Cancun, Mexico) in a resort named Riu

I made all the arrangements and on November 23^rd we landed in Cancun and took our ride to Playa Del Carmen and to our home for the next few days.

We found the resort elegant and comfortable. The staff was polite and efficient. We were given a choice to select our room and we chose the one with views to the garden.

The “All Inclusive” status gave us the opportunity to eat anywhere at the resort from a selection of Italian, Fusion, Japanese, Mexican, Steakhouse and the mixed buffet. We tried them all in our 5 days stay and enjoy them all.

A nightly entertainment was offered as well that included variety shows of Mexian Culture plus international dancing and singers.

While at the resort we visited the city market, Mayan ruins, birds’ sanctuary, and walked around the resorts.

Our favorite time was lying on the beach, doing absolutely NOTHING!
